🌟The Bright Side: Tribes from India visit UK museum to bring home ancestors’ remains

Tribes from the state of Nagaland in northeastern India have held talks at Oxford University’s Pitt Rivers Museum to secure the return of ancestral remains taken during the colonial era. “Trophies”, such as skulls and other body parts, have been displayed at the museum for decades. The call for their return comes amid growing claims for stolen indigenous remains, as well as looted art, to be returned to their communities.
