Syria’s reconciliation centres: Former soldiers, officers hand in weapons

Former soldiers and officers along with members of police forces in Syria have attended reconciliation centres on December 21. The centres have been set up in part to settle the status of those who did not take part in torture and killing during Bashar al Assad’s many years in power.
