‘Today the guns in Gaza have gone silent’, Biden says

In a press conference Sunday, outgoing President Joe Biden hailed the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas which came into effect earlier in the day. “Today the guns in Gaza have gone silent”, Biden said, adding “hundreds of trucks are entering Gaza as I speak, they’re carrying assistance for civilians who suffered enormously from the war”.
