Thai hostage freed by Hamas returns to his homeland

On Tuesday, February 11th, Thai farmhand Watchara Sriaoun was welcomed back at his hometown church after being released by Hamas. He was one of the captives freed in the latest round of prisoner-for-hostage exchanges in Gaza. He used to work in Israel, among about 29,000 Thai nationals working in the country, mostly as farmhands.
