Cotton pest: Combatting jassid to save industry

Ivory Coast’s cotton industry was plunged into a crisis in 2022 as crops were devastated by the jassid as these insects are voracious pests. Today, the industry is still trying to recover and minimise the damage that jassid can do.. Production has bounced back healthily but the gains are fragile.
