Clint Hill, US Secret Service agent who leapt onto JFK’s car after assassination, dies aged 93
On November 22, 1963, Clint Hill, then a US Secret Service agent, leapt on John F. Kennedy’s limousine after the US president was shot. He did not manage to save Kennedy and was haunted by his failure to do so until his later years, when he came to terms with what happened, long after he’d retired. Hill died last week aged 93.
