French fugitive ‘The Fly’ extradited to France after his arrest in Romania

France’s “public enemy number one” was arrested in Bucharest over the weekend after months of being on the run and has left Romania for France, Romanian airport authorities said on Tuesday. Mohamed Amra, also known as “The Fly”, had been on the run since his deadly escape from a prison van in northern France in May 2024.
