French city of Nice backtracks on big cruise ship ban
The mayor of Nice on Friday backtracked on plans to ban big cruise ships from the French Riviera town to prevent overtourism. The original plan was lauded by environmentalists but caused dismay among local businesses owners and the cruise industry.
