Clashes in Syria kill more than 200 people: Leader al-Sharaa urges Alawites to surrender

Syria’s transitional government on Friday launched a sweeping operation in western coastal areas against fighters loyal to the deposed Assad regime. The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights later said that 162 Alawite civilians were “executed” by security forces. France24 correspondent Dana Alboz in Damascus tells us more.
