Senior US and Ukrainian officials to meet in Saudi Arabia while Russian attacks continue

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky will travel to Saudi Arabia this week to seek to rebuild relations with Washington after US President Donald Trump cut critical military aid to Kyiv following a tense meeting between the two leaders at the White House on February 28.

Meanwhile, on the ground, Russian attacks are intensifying in civilian areas and on the battlefield, with a new apparent advance in the northern part of Ukraine by Russia. France 24 correspondent in Kyiv Emmanuelle Chaze speaks with us.
