FRANCE 24’s analyst Wassim Nasr reports on the flare up of violence in Syria, the worst outbreak of conflict since Bashar al-Assad was ousted in December. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said Monday that the security forces and allied groups had killed 1,068 civilians since Thursday, the vast majority from the minority Alawite community.
