NASA astronauts safely return home after 9-month ordeal

Science journalist Frédéric Castel joins France 24 as NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams finally returned to Earth on Tuesday following a technical problem that left them stranded for nine months on the International Space Station. Wilmore and Williams journeyed for 17 hours on a SpaceX spacecraft before landing in the Gulf of Mexico, kicking off a rehabilitation process during which the astronauts’ body will adapt to Earth’s gravity over multiple weeks.
