Erdogan could use Imamoglu detention to extend the term limit to presidency, analyst says

Anger has erupted on the streets of Istanbul, with thousands of people rallying in the cold in front of the city hall on Wednesday evening, yelling: “Erdogan, dictator!” and “Imamoglu, you are not alone!”, after the city’s mayor and Erdogan’s main political rival was detained.
