Thousands feared dead in major quake in Thailand, Myanmar

​A powerful 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck central Myanmar near Mandalay on March 28, 2025, causing widespread devastation. The tremors were strongly felt in neighboring Thailand, including Bangkok, where a 30-story building under construction collapsed, resulting in multiple casualties.
