Israeli Supreme Court sets deadline for solution on Shin Bet chief dismissal

The Israeli Supreme Court on Tuesday gave the cabinet and attorney general’s office a deadline to find a path forward to the government’s controversial decision to sack domestic security chief Ronen Bar, the head of the Shin Bet internal security agency that had led the “Qatargate” investigation.
