Indian army exchanges fire with Pakistan for a second day
Already icy relations between India and Pakistan continue to deteriorate, with ties plunging to their lowest level in years. According to officials on Friday, troops from both countries exchanged fire overnight across the Line of Control in disputed Kashmir. It’s the fallout from a deadly attack that saw gunmen kill 26 people in the scenic town of Pahalgam, in Indian-administered Kashmir — all Indian tourists except for one Nepalese national. New Delhi’s forces have launched a manhunt for those responsible, blowing up homes in Kashmir during their search. Charlotte Hughes has the update.
