Monday’s federal election in Canada will take place under the shadow of US President Donald Trump, who has been threatening the country for months with his trade policies. Canadian leaders have been delivering their closing speeches, and Prime Minister Mark Carney is favoured to win a victory for his Liberal Party. Caroline Baum reports.
