Israel’s military assault on Gaza kills more than 100 overnight, forces closure of hospital

Israeli strikes across the Gaza Strip killed at least 103 people overnight into Sunday, hospitals and medics said, and prompted northern Gaza’s main hospital to close. Indirect talks between Israel and Hamas continued in Doha, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu indicated he would be open to “ending the fighting” as part of a Gaza deal.
