America is saying its final farewell to Jimmy Carter. The late US president is being honoured in Washington this Thursday with a state funeral, before being buried at his home in Georgia. The Nobel Peace Prize laureate died last week at 100 years old and was the longest-living US president in history. FRANCE 24’s Douglas Herbert looks back at Carter’s life post-presidency.
