At least one killed, 48 wounded by Israeli gunfire at US aid hub in south Gaza

One Palestinian was killed and at least 48 were wounded, mostly by Israeli gunfire, as crowds overran a new US-backed aid hub near Rafah, the Gaza Health Ministry said Wednesday. Palestinians are desperate for food after nearly three months of Israeli border closures have pushed Gaza to the brink of famine.
