Baghdad’s first skatepark provides escape for young people

A new skatepark has opened in Baghdad, the first in the Iraqi capital. The park, which was opened by three organisations from Italy, Iraq and Belgium after lengthy negotiations, now provides a welcome means of escape for young people in a country that has endured decades of conflict and crisis.
