Body of an Israeli hostage is found in Gaza, possibly alongside his son’s remains

On Wednesday, the Israeli army announced it had discovered the body of a 53 year old Bedouin Arab hostage in the Gaza Strip, who’d been seized in the October 7th attack. Soldiers are now investigating “findings which raise serious concerns” for the life of his 22 year old son, also a hostage. Both were thought to have been alive before this announcement. The news comes as hostages’ families continue to demand a ceasefire, which the US said Wednesday is “close” to fruition.
