Filmmaker Panahi cheered on return to Iran after Cannes triumph
Iranian filmmaker Jafar Pahani was given a hero’s welcome on his return to Tehran on May 26 by supporters after winning the top prize at the Cannes film festival, footage posted on social media showed.
