FRANCE 24 report: Wrestling on the big stage in Senegal

This Sunday Senegalese gathered for the country’s biggest wrestling fight – Combat Royale. Title holder for the past 5 years, Modou Lo took to the National Arena to face Siteu, a very popular fighter from the Dakar suburbs. Accompanied by cultural traditions and local dancing, Senegalese wrestling is considered a blend of sport and culture. The fight between the two giants was followed throughout Senegal.
