France: Opposition parties fear government delays discussions over budget bill

The French national assemblee will exceptionally open this Saturday as MPs urgently debate the budget bill. A vote is set for Tuesday, but thousands of amendments to the draft law still need to be discussed… a number of which have been filed by the government’s camp. Opposition parties fear it’s deliberately delaying discussions to force the budget through without a vote. A story by Camille Knight.
