French court moves to sentencing in Gisèle Pelicot mass rape trial

Gisele Pelicot’s lawyer Antoine Camus called for “truth and justice” to be rendered to the plaintiff, whose ex-husband Dominique Pelicot is accused of organising the mass rape and sexual abuse of his now ex-wife. The case drew to a close last week after 11 weeks of testimony. The five judges will issue their ruling on the sentences in late December.
