French paedophile surgeon Le Scouarnec says ‘responsible’ for deaths of two victims

A former French surgeon, Joel Le Scouarnec, 74, on trial for sexually abusing 299 patients, mostly under 15, admitted responsibility for two deaths. Accused of 111 rapes and 189 assaults across a dozen hospitals, his crimes spanned 1989 to 2014, often targeting patients under anaesthesia or post-surgery.
