Gaza humanitarian situation ‘apocalyptic’ as Israel pounds enclave

UNRWA said on Tuesday the amount of aid coming into Gaza had reached an “apocalyptic” new low in the 13-month Israel-Hamas war, with 2.2 million people needing “absolutely everything” to avoid dying from disease, famine, and violence.
