Georgian opposition leader arrested after another night of pro-EU demonstrations

Georgian police arrested prominent opposition leader Zurab Japaridze early Monday after using water cannon and tear gas to scatter anti-government protesters who rallied outside parliament for the fourth straight night. The country’s interior ministry said 21 police officers were injured during a crackdown on demonstrations.
