Israel strikes near Damascus presidential palace following Druze violence

Israel on Friday said it launched air strikes near Damascus’ presidential palace and threatened further military to force Syrian authorities to protect its Druze people from what the minority’s leader called a “genocidal campaign” amid ongoing sectarian violence.
