Israel strikes south Beirut suburb as Lebanon’s president meets Macron in Paris

Lebanese official media reported an air strike on a southern Beirut suburb on Friday shortly after the Israeli military issued an evacuation order. The strike occurred as Lebanese President Joseph Aoun met with French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris and is the first such raid since a ceasefire agreement in November halted hostilities between Hezbollah and Israel.
