NASA delays US return mission to the Moon until 2027

Technical problems with the Artemis 2 crew capsule will delay a US mission to the Moon, NASA officials said on Thursday. Among other objectives, the US plans to explore the Moon’s south pole for water ice deposits that could sustain human bases for deeper missions into space.
