NASA says ‘City killer’ asteroid now has 3.1% chance of hitting Earth

NASA data released Tuesday said there is now a 3.1 percent chance a “city-destroying” asteroid could smash into Earth in 2023. The asteroid named 2024 YR4 is being carefully monitored by the international astronomical community.
