Netanyahu announces ‘intensive’ Gaza offensive, displacement of its population

Israel is set to seize the Gaza Strip and remove its population “for its own protection”, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced in a video posted on social media on Monday. Plans for the new, “intensive” offensive were approved by the security cabinet on Monday.
