One missing as Swiss village largely destroyed by glacier collapse

The Swiss village of Blatten was largely destroyed on Wednesday as the Birch Glacier collapsed sending a huge avalanche of ice and scree hurtling into the valley where homes and other buildings were located. Although residents were evacuated last week, one 64-year-old man is missing.
