Poland’s election: Young voters back extremes

Poland’s presidential election raises questions about its pro-European and pro-Ukrainian stance or a shift toward euroscepticism and Trumpism. Sunday’s run-off pits liberal Rafał Trzaskowski against conservative nationalist Karol Nawrocki. However, first-round results revealed under-30 voters favoured radical candidates: right-wing Sławomir Mentzen and leftist Adrian Zandberg, showing surprising swings between extremes.
