Poland’s support for Ukraine shifts as war enters its third year

Three years after opening their borders to hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian refugees, Poles are becoming rather less welcoming. With a presidential election coming up, candidates have been surfing on anti-Ukrainian sentiment, suggesting that they are a burden on the Polish economy.
