Russia and Ukraine set for second round of peace talks in Istanbul

The second set of negotiations between diplomats from Kyiv and Moscow to end the war in Ukraine is scheduled for Monday in Istanbul. Despite the flurry of diplomacy, the two sides remain far apart over a possible deal – either for a truce or longer-term settlement.
