Russia will abandon its moratorium on deploying short- and medium-range missiles, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told state media Sunday, citing the US’s decision to deploy such weapons across the world. Washington withdrew from the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces treaty in 2019.
