Senate confirms Gabbard as Trump’s director of national intelligence

Tulsi Gabbard has been sworn in as US President Donald Trump’s director of national intelligence, after Republicans in the Senate fell in line. Some Senators had questioned her experience and judgment, after she made comments sympathetic to both Russia and held a meeting with former Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. Andrew Hilliar has more.
