Set to sting: Trump doubles Canada’s planned tariffs to 50 percent

President Donald Trump doubled his planned tariffs on all imports of steel and aluminum goods from Canada to 50% on Tuesday, in a retaliatory move set to sting the Canadian economy after the province of Ontario’s decision to place a 25% tariff on its electricity exports to the US.
