‘Substantial progress’ made on US-China trade deal

US Secretary of Treasury Scott Bessent on Sunday said negotiations between the US and China have led to “substantial progress” on reaching a trade deal that would de-escalate the trade war started by US President Donald Trump’s sweeping tariff policies last month.
