Supporters of Bolivia’s Evo Morales hold soldiers hostage amid protests

Supporters of Bolivia’s former president Evo Morales took around 20 soldiers hostage and took over a barracks in Chapare province on Friday, military sources reported. The hostage situation follows weeks of roadblocks set up by Morales’s backers to prevent his arrest on charges he claims are politically motivated.
