She is being described as inventive and expressive – and it’s someone who is not human. This is Mary the elephant, at Berlin Zoo, who has taken to showering herself in a most extraordinary way. Researchers say her use of a hose is extremely accomplished. A Neurobiologist who has been studying her is particularly impressed with a lasso technique she uses to reach her back while showering. He even now does impressions of her.
