Thousands rally in Seoul as South Korean president faces second impeachment vote

Seoul police said they were expecting at least 200,000 people to attend the mass demonstrations taking place in South Korea’s capital Saturday as parliament began deliberations on a second impeachment vote over President Yoon Suk Yeol’s failed attempt to rule by martial law. The right-wing president has vowed to fight on despite his plummeting levels of public support.
