Thousands sign up for app to help quit X ahead of Trump inauguration

Thousands of people have signed up for HelloQuitX, a social network service allowing users to switch from Elon Musk’s X to other platforms such as BlueSky or Mastodon, a French researcher said Monday. Since Donald Trump’s re-election, a steady stream of prominent people and organisations has been leaving X altogether or leaving accounts fallow over widespread misinformation.
