Trump to hold call with Putin in continued push for Ukraine ceasefire

US President Donald Trump will on Monday hold a phone call with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in a bid to advance ceasefire negotiations to end the conflict in Ukraine. Direct negotiations in Istanbul last week between delegations from Russia and Ukraine resulted in no concrete commitment to a possible truce.
