Two French physicists sentenced to jail for Russian consulate attack in Marseille

Two French physicists were on Thursday sentenced to eight months in jail for throwing homemade explosive devices at the Russian consulate in Marseille. The scientists, who work at France’s state research agency, said they aimed to “draw attention to the state of the world” with the attack.
