Ukraine pushes NATO for membership ahead of Trump presidency
Ukraine insisted Tuesday that NATO membership was the only “real guarantee” for its security, but foreign ministers from the alliance sidestepped Kyiv’s push for an invite ahead of Donald Trump’s return to the US presidency. He says that although the formal position of NATO is to be open to a Ukrainian membership, it’s uncertain whether every member is willing to accept it into the alliance.
